Arbeitsbeschrieb

“2048+” is a controller for the computer game “2048”. The player of “2048” has to join equal numbers in order to get to the tile 2048, using the arrow keys, left, right, up, and down of the keyboard. When two tiles with the same number are connected, they merge into one. “2048+” allows to play the game without the use of a keyboard by shifting a controller on its x and y axis. As the game consists of adding numbers the controller has the shape of a plus. The additions are made by rotating the controller to the left, right, up, and down. The project was developed by Giulia Galli during the course “Digital fabrication” held by professor Enrico Bassi at the Master of Advanced Studies in Interaction Design at SUPSI, Lugano, a.y. 2015-2016.
